This October, Málaga becomes the meeting point for one of the most ambitious innovation events in Southern Europe. On October 1–2, 2026, the Terminal de Cruceros, Málaga will host Gateway Summit, an international ecosystem built around a simple but powerful idea: innovation doesn’t happen in isolation.
It happens when entrepreneurs, companies, investors, institutions and talent share the same room and the same ambition to build what’s next. Marlife Business Hub is proud to support Gateway Summit 2026, and we want our community to be part of it too.
What Exactly Is Gateway Summit?
Gateway Summit is the annual event that brings together the national and international innovation ecosystem in a single space. For two days, Málaga turns into a meeting point for startups, companies, investment funds, institutions, entrepreneurs and tech leaders who come together to exchange knowledge, generate business and build connections that actually matter.
The program blends inspiration with action: keynote talks, panel discussions, workshops and startup competitions sit alongside dedicated networking spaces designed to turn conversations into real opportunities.
But beyond the agenda, Gateway Summit is built around what truly makes an event worth attending the people you meet, the conversations you have, and the doors that open because of them.
Two Days, Nine Industries Shaping What’s Next
Gateway Summit isn’t built around a single theme, it’s designed to reflect the breadth of industries currently redefining the economy, technology and society. Expect to find protagonists and conversations spanning:
- Artificial Intelligence
- Fintech & Investment
- Bitcoin & Tokenization
- Smart Mobility
- SpaceTech
- HealthTech
- Smart Cities
- Cybersecurity
- Corporate Innovation and Marketing
Whether your interest lies in deep tech or in the business side of innovation, the range of verticals means there’s a genuine reason for founders, corporates and investors alike to be in the room.
Choosing How You Experience It
Gateway Summit offers a few different ways to attend, depending on how deep you want to go:
- Passenger gives you access to the main Gateway Summit program, including entry to Pavilion B of the Terminal de Cruceros, ideal if you’re there for the talks, panels and exhibition floor.
- Experience unlocks the Outdoor Experience Area from 6:00 PM onward, where the day’s conversations continue in a more relaxed, social setting.
- Passenger + Experience combines both, so you can move seamlessly from the daytime program into the evening’s networking and activations. For those who want to go further, VIP access adds exclusive networking cocktails and reserved spaces to connect directly with speakers, investors and other standout attendees, while the Transatlantic VIP Pass rounds out the experience with the official opening dinner, two nights of accommodation, and the closing lunch, designed for anyone who wants to make the absolute most of every connection, before, during and after the event.
